The POOL
We have had such a time. This time last year our "new pool" just short of two years old fell apart!! We were Devestated!

| The pool builder Dan Roth of Foothills Installers owner of THE POOLYARD refused to fix it or replace it until we paid for it. He was the only authorized dealer to build a Doughboy inground without voiding the warranty. He then strung us along telling us how our insuance would cover it if we just did A B C and D. We did all suggested and the insurance company sent out all the right people, even an engineer and found the pool builder completely at fault. He refused to budge and inch. It started out to be a liner coming apart and before we got any answers it was a pond with pollywogs and a pump full of silt. Disaster to say the least. That was exactly one year ago to the month! | ||||

On to the good news!! Tired of hearing that Foothills Installers felt no responsibility for their shoddy workmanship, we decided to get some quotes before the summer heat was upon us. The pool "broke" last year right in the middle of the heatwave and was useless all summer. We didn't want to go through that again. We contacted a few companies in the San Jose area and had some reps show up . They were quick to visit us and give some quotes and discuss ideas and options. We were looking at Swan Pools and although they were very kind and appeared reasonably priced, after reading some horror stories on the internet we decided to go with a much more reputable company. Both companies were upset to hear how we were treated by THE POOLYARD. They could see the shoddy workmanship and explained some errors to us. We decided to go with ROYAL POOLS of San Jose CA and Gilroy CA. It was the greatest pool decision we could make and we wanted to make sure that it was known throughout the internet. They walked us through every step, every contract, every phase, every day. Our pool was done in just over a month. From start to finish! We were weeks ahead of schedule. We took many pictures and have decided to give a step by step pictorial of how the pool was created and to make sure and give each company their kudos for giving us such superious quality and service. |
